Centennial Concrete Design was founded in 2008 with the goal of building a construction company around stronger estimating, clearer communication with General Contractors, quality execution, accountability, respect for employees, and the desire to build a lasting name in the construction industry.

After approximately eight years working with established construction companies in Southern California, founder Jose Aguirre saw an opportunity to do things better – not only in concrete construction, but also in the way a subcontractor approaches estimating, communication, coordination and commitments. Centennial became the vehicle for that vision: a company built under its own name, values and standards.

The company began with pourback work and small contracts that opened the door to the commercial construction market. Those opportunities grew into repeat work for nationally recognized brands and into more technically demanding commercial, retail, industrial, institutional, utility and renovation projects throughout Southern California.

Through the dedication of the entire team, Centennial has grown from small contracts of only a few thousand dollars to projects exceeding $5 million. The growth has been driven by consistency, performance and long-term relationships – not simply by project volume.

Today, the same principles remain in place: understand the work, identify challenges early, communicate clearly, honor commitments, support the people performing the work, and never stop improving.
